Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors can’t be stopped, no matter what the rest of the NBA may throw at them. After taking down James Harden and the #1 seed Houston Rockets in a challenging 7-game Western Conference Finals series, they’re off to the NBA Finals to face LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers for the 4th year in a row. An occasion this momentous and the journey leading up to it certainly calls for commemoration, so Under Armour is paying homage to Chef Curry’s trials and tribulations on the way to the Finals with two commemorative Curry 5s: a white/gold entitled the “Takeover Edition 1” and a black/gold dubbed the “Takeover Edition 2.” Both of the championship-ready kicks feature tonal uppers with gold detailing on the heel and tongue, a speckled white midsole for a pop of contrast, and a translucent outsole with further gold speckled detailing. Look for both of these new Curry 5 colorways to release Friday, June 1st —right after the NBA Finals begin Thursday night — and retail for $130 USD.

Update: The UA Curry 5 “Takeover” is available now in kids sizes on UA.com.
